This research aims to find out whether or not the use of English subtitle videos increase significantly students reading comprehension in narrative text. This research conducts quantitatively and uses pre-experimental research. The sample of this research is 30 students in the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bonepantai. A reading comprehension test, specifically narrative text, is used to collect the data. The test was objective, and it was used to collect the data pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed and interpreted using SPSS 25 version. The result of the pre-test was 56.66%, while the post-test score reached 87.99%. Comparison of the two results shows an increase of 31.24%. The hypothesis found that a significance value (2-tailed) p=0.000<0.05. It proves that the Hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Thus, the conclusion is that English Subtitle Videos can increase significantly students' reading comprehension in narrative text.
