Feni Mutia Rahim (Student’s ID: 321418025). 2023. A Case Study on Students and Teacher Perception on the use of Google Classroom in English Language Subject. Undergraduate Thesis. Principle Advisor: Moh. Syahrun Ibrahim, S.Pd, M.Ed, Ph.D. Co-advisor: Farid Muhamad, S.Pd, M.A. English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Letters and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This Research was focused on analyzing the used of Google Classroom (GC) in English language subject at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. This research designed to find out how the students and teacher perception on the use of GC in learning English subject. This research applied descriptive qualitative method. The data of the research has been collected by using an interview and it was analyzed based on thematic analysis. The total numbers of participants of this research were 16 students and 1 teacher who already have experience in using GC in learning English subject. The researcher supplied 13 questions with 8 topics in order to get the data of this research. Based on the result, it was found that the teacher and most of the students agreed about the using of GC in learning English. The students and the teacher assumed that GC can facilitate and improve the competence in learning English. Although there are some problems that encountered, but they can solve it if there is communication between teacher and students. In conclusion, most of the participants agreed about the use of GC as a media of learning considering the advantages of the platforms that help them in learning English through online during the pandemic of covid-19.
