Advisors: Prof. Dr. Hasanuddin Fatsah, M.Hum : Muziatun Mukaji, M.App.Ling, Ph.D This study is aimed to increase students’ pronunciation ability by applying Automatic Speech Recognition on tenth year of SMKS Tirtayasa Gorontalo. The Objectives of this study were (1) to find out the students’ ability in pronunciation before and after applying Automatic Speech Recognition. (2) to find out the effectiveness of Automatic Speech Recognition in increasing students’ Pronunciation Ability. The subject of this research was 20 students of tenth year of SMKS Tirtayasa Gorontalo. Oral tests were used in collecting the data. The data were analyzed through classification list of data scoring and statistical package for service solution. The result of this study showed that significance (sig 2 tailed) is 0.000 which is smaller than 5% level of significance (0.000 < 0,05) so can be concluded that the application of Automatic Speech Recognition Increased Students’ Pronunciation Ability.
