The first advisor is Muziatun, S.Pd.,M.App.Ling., Ph.D and the second advisor is HarisDanial, S.Pd., M.A. The final project is about the implementation of gallery walk method in writing descriptive text at junior high school. Gallery Walk is a method in which students work in group. Every group consist of four or five students where students are given the opportunity to walk around the work of other groups which are posted on the classroom wall for all groups to read and given question based on what each group presents. The aim of this research is to find out whether the gallery walk method can affect students learning outcomes or not. This research just focuses on seventh grade, and using descriptive text material to measure the extent to which the gallery walk method has an influence on student learning outcomes or not at all. The sample in this research is students in class VII-4 of SMPN 12 Gorontalo that consist of 22 students. This research used pre-experimental research design as the method. In this research, the research found that the mean score of pre-test < post> t-list or 6,38 ≥ 2.08. so, it can be concluded that gallery walk method can provide a significant influence in students learning outcomes especially in descriptive text at seventh grade. This research shows that gallery walk method is one of important way to change students learning process so as to create a fun class atmosphere and not make them bored. For another researcher, the researcher suggest this method can be apply in another skill or material in teaching English or another lesson. Keyword: Gallery Walk Method, Writing Descriptive Text
